Today I went to enjoy Greek Day on Broadway between Macdonald and Blenheim. Highlights:
- Tons of people enjoying the festival despite the cool and cloudy weather!
- Chicken souvlaki fresh off the grill mmmmm...
- Lively Greek/Greek-influenced music and dance + belly dancing in front of Chai/East is East
- Shine, my favourite store in that area, had a one day 20% off everything sale AND free reusable waterproof bags that were also really colourful and whimsical! I got a pair of super bright aqua tights, hehe.
- Um, I got a "tat" (temporary airbrushed tattoo) at the West Coast Tattoos tent. Deciding on a design and then lining up took forever, but so worth it.
